At Sedar Properties, our key shareholders have been investing in and developing real estate in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand since the late 80s. Today, our multigenerational team is spread across Singapore and New Zealand.

Meet the Team
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
With a proven track record of optimising fiscal performance in diverse industries, Joan Keat joined the company in 2014 and has over 20 years of financial management, investment, regulatory reporting and technical accounting experience in the top 4 accounting firms and global multinational companies.

He was previously Financial Controller of AXA Life Insurance Singapore and Head of Treasury & Investment Services at Aviva Singapore. He graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree (First Class Honours) from Nanyang Technological University in 1996 and is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, a Chartered Accountant with the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and a Chartered Financial Analyst. In the non-profit sector, Joan Keat serves as a Director of South Central Community Family Service Centre and =DREAMS Singapore, which provide socio-economic support to disadvantaged children and families in Singapore.
PROJECT DIRECTOR
With a career spanning over two decades in landed residential development in Singapore, Laura has successfully led projects from land acquisition through to sale; encompassing design, submission, contract tender, project construction management and interiors.
Laura Poh

Beyond her professional commitments, Laura is a passionate advocate for children's education and welfare. She has been an active member of the MILK (Mainly I Love Kids) Fund since 2004, supporting financially disadvantaged children through transformational programs. As a founding member of the Compassion Fund, established in 2006, she continues to serve on its Board. Laura also sits on the Board of the South Central Community Family Service Centre, where she leads its home ownership program to support low-income families with children. Additionally, she is on the Board of =DREAMS Singapore, where she oversaw the construction of =DREAMS Campus, from site selection, design, and contract award to interior design, project completion, and facilities operations.
Aaron Abercrombie
PROJECT MANAGER
Aaron has been in the civil construction industry for almost 15 years. Having worked on some larger international projects, such as gas and steam power stations, tunnelling and more recently, multi-stage residential subdivisions in New Zealand, Aaron brings extensive expertise in commercial siteworks, bulk earthworks, infrastructure works, roading and subdivisions.

Before joining the company in 2017, Aaron worked for Hiway Stabilisers, New Zealand’s largest road construction and geotechnical contractors; and was General Manager of Troydon Contractors, a civil contracting company based in Auckland.
Eunice Lee
PROJECT MANAGER
Eunice has worked within project management and sustainable design functions in Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand; and has experience spanning retail, multi-unit residential, commercial, hotel and the community building sectors.

Prior to joining the company in 2021, Eunice worked at Lendlease delivering projects within large-scale precinct developments including Barangaroo, Sydney; and the International Quarter London. Eunice graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, First Class Honours) and Commerce.
Shihan Sappideen
PROJECT MANAGER
Shihan has 10 years of international experience in project management, engineering and compliance and has worked across a wide range of sectors. He joined the company in 2021 as a project manager to work on commercial and residential developments across New Zealand.

His previous capacities include project manager for a prominent Sydney-based remedial contractor, compliance manager with a leading social integration charity in the United Kingdom, and mechanical engineer for a Japanese power generation contractor. He graduated with honours from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
Naren Krishna
PROPERTY MANAGER
Naren is the Property Manager at Pakuranga Plaza, responsible for overseeing daily operations, leasing, and strategic management. With over 15 years of experience in commercial property management across New Zealand, he brings extensive expertise spanning retail, corporate and public sectors.

His strong foundation in accounting, gained through years of practice in both New Zealand and Fiji, complements his property management skills. Prior to joining Pakuranga Plaza, Naren worked with the Ministry of Social Development, where he managed 50 large-scale commercial portfolios across the Auckland and Taranaki regions.
Outside of work, Naren is a dedicated father of two and an avid football enthusiast. He manages his ethnic football team and organises annual trips to Fiji for tournaments, combining his passion for sports with leadership and community engagement.
